Commonwealth Home Support

detail-type-3 Stay Independent, Stay Safe detail-type-3

As a service provider registered with Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), Kalyra offers a range of support services that help you to live independently and safely at home. The program provides government funding towards services which enhance your abilities to retain your independence for longer.

The CHSP is designed to be an entry level support service for older people who need some additional help to stay at home and is best suited for people who just need one or two services.

The CHSP may subsidise services such as social support, transport, domestic assistance, personal care, allied health, home safety modifications, meals and respite care. If the service you need is not covered under the CHSP, you may be able to ‘top up’ this program and add additional services through the fee-per-service Kalyra Choice Program.

How to access CHSP

To access the Australian Government subsidised Help at Home programs, you will need an assessment by the government’s Aged Care Assessment Team or Regional Assessment Service.

Call My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 to make a booking or you can apply online

Kalyra understands this process can be daunting, which is why we have a knowledgeable support team to support and guide you and your family as you navigate through the aged care system. To organise your assessment contact our staff or visit: My Aged Care. We are happy to answer any questions you have and help you find the perfect solution for your needs.
